Through this handshake, SK Telecom claims to bring users a smoother Web3 experience.

On November 7, SK Telecom, South Korea’s leading telecommunications company, officially announced that it would cooperate with Layer1 blockchain projects Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to develop its web3 wallet service, called T Wallet.

SK Telecom is committed to providing users with concrete value by connecting to the promising dApp ecosystem in Aptos. Additionally, the use of Aptos’ advanced MoveVM blockchain technology marks a major step forward in helping users easily access Web3 services.

Notably, Aptos also has a strong community in South Korea. Therefore, this may be one of the reasons why SK Telecom chose Aptos as a partner.

In addition to Aptos, SK Telecom also previously launched T Wallet in cooperation with CryptoQuant. It is understood that T Wallet is a wallet product that supports cryptocurrency storage and on-chain analysis tools.

In August, SK Telecom partnered with Polygon Labs to develop its web3 ecosystem.

Immediately following this news, Aptos price saw volatility, surging to $7.7 before adjusting to $7.3 at the time of writing.
