The ticker symbols for Invesco and Galaxy’s Bitcoin (BTC) Direct Exchange ETF (BTCO) have appeared on the DTCC website.

According to web archivist WayBack Machine, no list The date shown under the ticker BTCO is October 25, which means the ETF was added to the list within the past six days.

It is important to note that adding a ticker to the “ETF Products” list on the DTCC website does not guarantee that a particular product will be approved in the future.

A DTCC spokesperson said it is standard practice to add securities to the NSCC securities qualification filing “in preparation for the introduction of new ETFs to the market.”

“Appearance on the list does not represent the outcome of any other outstanding regulatory or approval process,” the spokesperson added.
