Solana’s Jupiter exchange prepares to launch token

According to the team’s introduction in the event announcement, 40% of the upcoming JUP tokens will be airdropped to the Jupiter Exchange community and approximately 955,000 qualified users.

20% of the tokens will be distributed through the token sale, with the remaining 40% allocated to insiders and “strategic reserves.”

Jupiter’s pseudonymous co-founder Meow said in a Telegram message that Jupiter will consult with the community over the next two weeks before setting a firm release schedule, adding that JUP will operate as a unit Governance Token.
