Starknet announces airdrop of 50 million STRK tokens to early contributors

The Starknet community and airdrop hunters became “excited” at the news that the project would be distributing 50 million STRK tokens to early contributors. Therefore, it is very likely that Starknet’s native token will be launched in 2024.

According to Starknet’s latest announcement, the project has begun to launch the Early Community Member Program (ECMP – Early Community Member Program).

The program will airdrop to individuals

Made significant contributions to technical discussions,
Participate in important projects in the ecosystem,
organize Starknet-related events,
Post content about Starkne regularly.

The program rewards up to 50 million STRK tokens. Since the token has not yet been traded, its value cannot be estimated. However, this bounty can help Starknet grow and maintain its community, especially during the current “crypto winter” when resources are stretched.

However, to receive STRK tokens, individuals and projects need to apply for funding and provide details about their contributions. The registration process will last until November 19, 2023, and the winners will be announced before December 29, 2023.

Step 2: Fill in all information such as email, discord, Twitter, github and wallet address
Step 3: Write your contribution and send it to the project.

It is understood that the Starknet Foundation was established in November 2022 after developer StarkWare created 10 billion STRK tokens. But as of now, the project’s tokens have not been issued and traded.

The Starknet Foundation holds 50.1% of the initial token supply (10 billion STRK). So they have about 5 billion STRK tokens.

Currently, Starknet is the sixth largest layer 2 blockchain with a total value locked (TVL) of $143 million.
