The Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (BTCO) is the latest name to be added to the DTCC website, following BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF. This is a positive sign for the industry.
Recently, the Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (BTCO), a Bitcoin ETF jointly launched by Invesco and Galaxy, suddenly appeared on the website of the Nasdaq trading settlement unit DTCC.

Previously, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF was also included in the DTCC’s listing list. This created excitement among the community, causing Bitcoin price to cross the $35,000 mark, reaching $35,300.

Therefore, the community hopes that the simultaneous listing of DTCC funds will “breathe new wind” to the entire industry and open opportunities for legal authorities to approve Bitcoin ETFs.
However, a DTCC spokesperson emphasized that adding a ticker to the “ETF Products” list on the DTCC website does not guarantee that a specific product will be approved in the future. Additionally, adding securities to NSCC securities qualification filings is standard practice “in preparation for the launch of new ETFs to the market.”
But despite this, the community remains optimistic. Many experts predict that 2024 will be an explosive year, with Bitcoin halving, Bitcoin ETF spot news… and many other events happening.
